A Note Before the Policy

Vera is built on confidentiality. What you share with her stays between the two of you. This page explains, in plain language, exactly what we collect, why, and how it's protected.

1. What We Collect

  • Account details: your name, email, and authentication credentials.
  • Access details: invite code or payment status.
  • Intake answers: your written or spoken responses, including any answers you skip.
  • Photos you choose to upload during onboarding.
  • Voice transcripts when you use voice-to-text (audio is processed in your browser).
  • Basic technical data: device type, browser, and access timestamps.

2. Why We Collect It

We use your information for one purpose only: to deliver your private Vera experience and your Becoming Map. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing.

3. How It's Protected

Your data is stored in encrypted, access-controlled databases. Photos are stored privately and accessed only with signed, time-limited URLs. Row-level security ensures only you (and a small founding team for support) can access your records.

4. Service Providers

We use trusted infrastructure providers to host the service, process payments (Stripe), and run AI features. These providers process data on our behalf under strict confidentiality agreements.

5. Voice & AI

Voice-to-text uses your browser's built-in speech recognition. Vera's responses may be generated with the help of AI models. Your inputs are not used to train third-party models.

6. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time by emailing us. You may also ask for a full export of everything Vera holds about you.

7. Cookies

We use only the cookies and local storage required to keep you signed in and remember your preferences (such as voice settings). No third-party advertising cookies.

8. Children

Vera is intended for adult women (18+). We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
